Honorary Chairman: Barbara Kennington
Barbara Kennington brings to Texprint her considerable international experience, as a designer and trend specialist, but also as a strong advocate of the British textile industry and the outstanding design schools and universities that support it.
Creative & Editorial Director of WGSN.com from 1998 to 2008. Barbara was instrumental in establishing WGSN in 1998 with founders Marc and Julian Worth, developing WGSN’s editorial and creative teams, and in positioning WGSN as the world’s leading online research, trend analysis and news service for the fashion professional.
Consultant to Stylus Media Group which includes Stylus.com – global b2b information and inspiration source for the design/homewares/interiors markets.
Formerly a design consultant working on researching forward fashion trends, and developing product and styling solutions. The late 70s saw Barbara setting up her own fashion design label, Lumiere, becoming part of London’s early 80s cutting-edge ‘new wave’ of young designers, and developing innovative textile design out of Japan, Hong Kong and India.
