As a passionate advocate of the arts, classical music and culture, Texprint’s philanthropic approach, and that of its sponsors, very much chimes with Peter’s personal outlook and interests.
Previously Menswear Product Manager with The Woolmark Company (International Wool Secretariat), he worked closely with many of the world’s most innovative fashion designers and weavers (Armani, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld, Paul Smith, Boss, Sarti, Marzotto, Zegna Baruffa) and with, then up-and-coming, designers Dries van Noten and Hussein Chalyan.
Responsible for the continuation of the Royal College/Woolmark Award project linking major fashion brands with the RCA fashion graduates.
Formerly Brand and Merchandise Director for Matinique (In-Wear Group); and Menswear Director with the major design agency of its time, the Nigel French Consultancy, responsible for clients in Japan, Americas and Europe. Widely travelled - tracking the zeitgeist of lifestyle and consumer trends globally.
Born in Denmark, Peter’s early career focused on the promotion of the great 50/60/70s Scandinavian furniture brands such as Wegner, Jacobsen and Finn Juhl.
